The museum my partner and I are members at is a pretty amazing site, with lots of amazing events during the after hours, with up and coming chefs creating excellent menus, and dancing. While many of the events are quite appealing and require a couple of overpriced outfits, the number of things wrong within the museum is mind boggling. For example, the HVAC machine was so backed up from the heating machine not having been tested in years, that it simply stopped working the other night before all of us had the annual gala. I noticed the a/c machine wasn’t on when we initially arrived to get going with setting everything up. We had to call an HVAC specialist to come take a look at our heating machine… He said that our heating machine had a bunch of stuff deep within its vents that needed to be free and clear in order to actually function the right way. He finished servicing our heating machine, and then gave a little tune up for the HVAC unit, at no extra cost, which I thought was incredibly nice when considering that we kept asking him to speed this thing along as we were worried about preparing for the gala. Once the furnace was tested and the HVAC machine was nice to go, all of us started up the furnace again and heard the HVAC machine click into gear, which allowed the a/c to finally provide cooling for the room. We honestly are so happy that we were able to figure this crazy situation out before the gala tonight, otherwise we would have been in serious trouble indeed.
