In the Wintertide lower the temperature control to save money on your energy bill

Last Winter, I decided to visit our uncle who lives in the Midwest part of the country… I had not seen her in about 5 years, so she insisted that I take the trip to see her.

I would rather her come to our loft because there is more to do here, and the weather is so much better, but she is getting older, and she doesn’t care about traveling as much, so it made more sense for me to visit her instead; Well, when I got there the weather was extremely cold.

In fact, the day I landed it was 15 degrees outside, and I was not prepared for it at all. I had a heavy coat and I had sweaters, but I should have brought more clothes that I could wear in layers. Luckily, our uncle keeps her house nice and toasty, so as long as I was indoors, I was fine. When I first got there, I liked that her house was warm, however then, I realized the temperature control was set too high for me to sleep comfortably. It was set to 74 degrees, and I thought that was a bit too warm… At home, I barely use our heat in the Wintertide and when I do, I set the temperature to 74 degrees, but this is the temperature that is recommended by the Department of Energy, then not only does it save you money, however it also conserves energy. When I mentioned this to our aunt, she basically disregarded what I was saying. All she cared about was being sizzling in her home, so I decided to just leave it alone.
