I will go out to watch the sunset once my radiant heater has warmed me up enough and once I finish my work.
It’s amazing how cold the wind can make you feel on an otherwise warm spring day. The wind feels like I am sitting in front of a large air conditioning vent which is blasting cold air in my face. I think the sea water cools down the air blowing off of the sea and it just feels like a cold slap in the face when it hits you. I don’t mind it too much because I know that summer is coming and I’ll long for that cold air conditioning vent to be blowing on me once more. The summer here is hot from mid June to mid September and then it just ends abruptly. That’s when the cold weather hits and stays for six months so you end up spending most of your time in the flat making a fire in the fireplace or just turning your thermostat to the desired setting. I am still a bit under the weather so I am staying inside most of today because that cold wind just chills me to the core. I will go out to watch the sunset once my radiant heater has warmed me up enough and once I finish my work. Today is Saturday and I feel like I am missing out on stuff if I am not outside but I am flying in four days and want to be healthy for the long flight. I hope they don’t blast me out with the air conditioning on the plane for the whole nine hour flight. I may just bring my winter coat.
