My friends and I had tickets to see our number one band, however the tickets were $74 each; I hated spending that money on the concert tickets, but I actually wanted to see the band play; My friends and I were supposed to leave on Thursday evening and get a hotel room, then every one of us were all planning to take the day off on Thursday, but I got talked into toiling at the repair shop.
My boss had a ductless Heating and A/C device upgrade on Thursday afternoon and he needed someone to help! He begged me to labor on the job.
I felt poor saying no, so I said yes. My boss was supposed to let me go at noon. My friends were going to wait until the next day. They were not legitimately pleased with the decision, but they were not going to the concert without me. The ductless Heating and A/C device upgrade job had one concern after another. Every one of us had issues with the electricity and the plumbing. That job was just getting started at noon. I called my boss on the phone more than two times. He didn’t answer and I could not just leave in the middle of the job. I told my buddy to leave without me. I easily didn’t know they would go to the concert while I was still at home toiling, but they did. I do not blame them for not wanting to waste $74 on the ticket, but I was actually bummed out and worried that they decided to go without me. I had a ton of words for my boss that evening. He tried to tell me it was an accident, but I was miserable and ticked off.
