My lady never fears going full Karen on folks when she is agitated. Often that someone is me, which isn’t the best experience. But whenever her outrage is aimed at someone else, I find it quite hilarious. I long to get popcorn and watch her raise hell whenever someone gets under her skin. This happened in spectacular fashion some time back, when we went on a mini-vacation to the beach for a little birthday trip. We opted not to stay in a hotel, and my lady booked a house through AirBnB. We thought it would be a perfect experience, however right away we knew the A/C wasn’t running, and had not been functional for some time. The air quality was damp and smelled musty, as if there had been no air circulation through the place for a month or so. It was quite muggy without the AC, however the larger problem was the poor air quality. It was unpleasant to be inside the house, so we opened up all the windows for natural ventilation and went out to eat and shop for a couple hours. As we were eating, my lady got in touch with the house owner and read him the riot act about the faulty AC. She went off on the guy, so much so that by the time we got back to the rental, a Heating and Air Conditioning professional was waiting for us to inspect the system. He got the cooling system working in no time, and my lady gave him a large tip and said the house owner was quite foolish.
