Before we sold our last home, I had a friend help myself and others build a new room in the attic space.
- The room was enormous plus I knew it would be charming to future shoppers of our home.
My friend was asking if I wanted to have the ductwork extended into the room plus I had to think about that. I thought that perhaps the Heating plus A/C unit was not big enough to handle the additional room in the attic space. I didn’t want the Heating plus A/C idea to malfunction just because it suddenly had a much larger workload to deal with. So instead of extending the ductwork into the room, I decided to have a ductless mini split installed, which my friend helped with that installation. It particularly wasn’t that upscale to have a single zone ductless mini split installed, plus it wasn’t even too much work for the installation. But it’s unquestionably nice in that room because the ductless mini split keeps it perfectly cozy all the time. It used to be severely overheated in the attic space in the summer, plus brutally chilly in the Wintertide weeks. Now, it’s so cozy, especially because we insulated the attic unquestionably well. We made sure there was no spot that was left without a suitable amount of insulation plus that truly became the best room in the house. When we eventually sold the house, we sold it for twice as much as we paid for the place. Isn’t that amazing? That new room in the attic plus the ductless mini split install truly raised the value of the new home for sure!
