It was great that my brother installed his own HVAC, but then he asked me if I was ready to do the same thing.
One thing I can say about my brother is that he is very smart.
He can watch a tutorial and know exactly what to do for various household projects, including the recent HVAC installation he was successful with. The thing is, I’m not handy like he is. I’m a blogger and while I can write for ages and study about different topics, I am not handy enough to even change the oil in my car. That’s right, I always take my vehicle to the auto shop when I need an oil change and my friends make fun of me for that. I mean honestly, it’s not a big deal to me. The oil changes are cheap and I like having the professionals check out my car for any other complications. My buddies on the other hand, they do their own oil changes and things like that, but they don’t have expert eyes looking into everything else. Not to mention, they have to take their used oil all the way to the auto parts store, and that can be somewhat of a hassle. Anyway, my brother wouldn’t leave me alone until I said I would think about installing a new HVAC with his help. I told him if that were the case, most of the work would be completed by him since he actually knew what he was doing. Still, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to go this route or have a new HVAC professionally installed. With a professional installation, I knew I would get a much longer warranty and that seems appealing to me.
