He invited my family over for dinner with his family and it was a really nice time.
My wife baked some of her famous apple cobbler and we brought some vanilla ice cream to go with it. That was a real big hit after we enjoyed our dinner. In the meantime, we were talking a lot about how comfortable the new HVAC system was. The ductless mini split he installed actually has built-in air purification which is honestly impressive. He installed numerous zones throughout the house and he was telling me how challenging it was to drill through the walls, but he was able to get the job done. He said it took him a long time, but he saved a lot of money by not having to call the HVAC experts. I asked him if the warranty was voided since he was not an HVAC expert, and he told me that the manufacturer of the product gives the homeowner a 5 year warranty for parts and labor. He said if a professional installed it, it would be a 10 year warranty. He said he didn’t mind though because he heard these systems last a long time so long as you take proper care of them with regular HVAC maintenance.
