I could see him caressing the parts like a lover would caress their partner
I was watching a TV show about objectum sexuality, or what is referred to as objectophilia. Objectophilia is the affectionate attraction to inanimate objects. I thought this condition was a bit deranged and I wasn’t even sure if it was a real condition. I could not imagine someone wanting to marry a carnival ride, which is what they were showing on the TV show. One person wanted to marry the Empire State Building. I was kind of grossed out, but in another way, it was fascinating. I wondered what would cause a person to suppose they were in love with something that is made out of stone, brick, mortar, and metal? Let’s face it; it would not be much of a conversationalist. After the show ended, I never thought I would come across someone like this, and it completely went out of mind. Then, last week, I had to call the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C company to have the A/C component repair and inspections done. When the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C worker arrived, I observed that he was acting kind of odd. He was talking to the A/C component like it was a person. He then reached out and hugged the AC component before opening it up. I could see him caressing the parts like a lover would caress their partner. When he was done with the AC unit, he gave it a hug and absolutely kissed the top of the AC unit. I wasn’t sure I like how touchy feely he was with the AC unit, however he did a appealing job. It may not have been a tploy case of objectophilia, but it sure was creepy.
