One of our passions is to supply back to charity, I care about helping people whenever I can, however i volunteer our time to local food banks and soup living rooms! Some of the most amazing attachions I have had made in our life were in those spaces, however after chatting with Lauren who runs the soup living room about wanting to do more, he gave myself and others a good idea which was to create care packages for the less fortunate.
I thought this was brilliant, and it was something that I could absolutely do in our spare time.
So, I immediately came up with a game plan on how to best execute it, and the first thing I did was to research what I should include in the care packages, then from there I went shopping, which is something I enjoy, however while I was putting together the care packages, I realized that I wanted to include an uplifting message on the bags, even though I only had a small label maker which would take forever to complete a task of this size. I had around 100 bags, and I wanted to make around 1000 labels because that is the number of bags that I intend on putting together over time. So, I went to Google to see if there was a contractor near our condo who would print custom labels, and sure enough I found 1 and their prices were absolutely adequate, but for now, I will get our labels printed with them, but eventually I will invest in a custom label printer. After all, I plan on expanding this care package into a small charity 1 day, and I will need to be able to print hundreds of labels.
