I bought a giant plot of land right in the middle of the woods. The land is absolutely perfect. I have a lake view, tons of property and privacy. I can hear birds chirping and watch the animals. The issue was after buying my expensive land and paying landscapers to clean an area, I didn’t have much money left. Creating a whole home from top to bottom is expensive. It also requires a lot of different businesses coordinating together. I decided that for right now I am just going to live in a tiny home. I found a company that offers affordable home solutions. I am technically living in a few shipping containers hooked together. I have plenty of space and the outside of it doesn’t look that bad. Inside I have heating, cooling, plumbing, and electricity. I have a kitchen, living room, bathroom and bedroom. It feels like a real house and it was a fraction of the cost. It is nice that I have my own space and can enjoy my land. I have been saving my money and working with an architect to build my dream home. I am not in a rush though. It is kind of nice living in a tiny home. The shipping container aspect isn’t even something I think about until a person asks me what my home is made out of. I am not cold or experiencing structural issues at all. It is solid and comfy as a normal house. I am definitely going to keep the tiny home as a guest quarters once I have my real home built. It is a great little space.
