One thing I never took notice of was how much bigger commercial heating and air conditioning systems are from your standard residential heat and a/c units.
I knew they were bigger, but just how big was a shock! I found this out while at work actually.
I had to go past the area where they have their commercial heating and air conditioning unit, and when I saw it I was just like, wow! It was much bigger than I ever imagined! It almost looked like the size of a tractor for a farm or something. I never really did understand the size of these monster heating and air conditioning systems that heat and cool all commercial buildings so well. And from what I understand, back when they first existed many decades ago they were even bigger! I am talking back in the days when commercial heating and air conditioning systems were all there really was for central heating and cooling. The days when people could not afford residential heat and a/c units. I can only imagine that they probably had to have a huge open space or had to put the commercial heating and air conditioning systems in the back of the building back then. If I think today’s commercial heating and air conditioning systems are super large, imagine what I would have thought of the original ones from way back when! HVAC technology sure is an amazing thing I can say. Maybe someday the commercial heating and air conditioning systems will be the same size as residential. Who really knows!
