Being an independent heating and air conditioning contractor is a very busy job. Not only are you doing the duties of a certified heating and cooling specialist, but you are also running your own business at the same time. You do not have someone to do scheduling, etc like you do working for a heat and a/c company. But at the same time with all this work, it pays off because you can make much more money being your own independent contractor in heating and air conditioning. Sometimes it gets so busy that the week just flies by! That happened to me this week. It was Monday and then in the blink of an eye it was Friday and time to take a break for the weekend. I almost did not even realize it! That is how quick the week flew by because of how many heat and a/c repairs and heating as well as air conditioning systems I had to install. And I did it with just me and my assistant that I hired. The 2 of us are the only ones working here. It is really a lot of hard work but like I said, it is well worth it for the benefits all together. Believe it or not I do not like when the week flies by and I lose track of time. It puts me off with accounting which I have to do all myself. I have to put certain funds into my personal pay, my assistant’s pay and also funds into purchasing heating and air conditioning equipment I need from the HVAC supplier to do heat and a/c repairs.
