It’s taxing laboring for a business that is slowly falling apart.

Both of us worry always that we’re all going to be let go at a moment’s notice at some random time in the short term future. I keep looking for alternative tasks in my industry, but nothing shows up when I stop to search listings both locally plus nationally. The best thing I can do right now is dig my heels into the ground plus learn to deal with the adversity until I find a upgradement task. I just wish they would do their absolute minimum by paying us on time. It happened for the first time last year plus I was late on multiple bills. I asked for a guarantee that I would be paid on the dates we agreed upon, but acquired nothing but silence in response. Unblessedly, it happened again this week at one of the worst times possible. I had already tied up to have my HVAC supplier send out a professional to perform repairs on the air conditioning. I waited to the absolute last hour—that day I knew I would be paid. Unblessedly, my check never hit my bank account appreciate it was supposed to, so I had to use a ATM card to spend my savings the HVAC business. By the grace of God the charge cleared my ATM card with just multiple dollars to spare. I was paid the following day, although I wasn’t cheerful about the delay. I need to find a better business to work for at this point moving forward.
