I was so over the moon and the sky when I found out that I was going to be getting a promotion at the heating and air conditioner business I work for! I have been a heating and cooling specialist at this Heating and A/C business going on 8 years now, and because I have done such a great task and believe my stuff they want to promote myself and others to chief heating and air conditioner specialist.
Being promoted to chief heating and air conditioner specialist would mean that I do not have to work my tail off as hard anymore out in the Heating and A/C field.
I would be spending a lot of time around the office training new heat and cooling system workers that were hired right out of heating and cooling school. This will be great! Not to mention, of course a pay raise comes with all this. I don’t understand how you get a raise for having an easier task, although I am not complaining. That is how all upper management people are these mornings. They more or less get paid more to sometimes do little to nothing, depending on the business. I kind of believe guilty taking this for that genuinely reason, but in this case I will be earning my buck. Just in a different way with much less physical labor of having to repair and install central heating and units. This promotion is going to take locale sometime next month I was told. I am so looking forward to it! Not just for the higher pay, but for the easier work as well.
