I am someone who loves baking. I can bake cakes, cookies and more. This is my major hobby I do on the weekends when I am not working. However, when summer comes I do not do it very much. This is because the oven is so hot that even the central air conditioning system can not keep it cool enough in that kitchen! I had thought about other ways to get extra cooling into the kitchen so I could do a lot of baking in the summer. But the only viable solution I found would be to get a ductless mini split air conditioning system. And those things are thousands of dollars. A portable air conditioning system would be the next option, but I have tried that before and the portable air conditioning system that I had was not powerful enough to combat the heat from the oven. I even tried running the portable air conditioning system with a floor fan in front of it, and still it was too hot for me to keep on baking in the kitchen. I may call a heating and air conditioning professional for some advice and see what they can suggest. Because I really would love to be able to bake all year round! That is really my favorite thing to do in my spare time and if I could do it in the summer more than I do now, that would be totally wonderful and great.
