The HVAC industry have developed technology to reduce our home’s carbon footprints

I live in an section that experiences tropical weather conditions for most of the year, and during the Winter time weeks, all of us may get a few afternoons that are cold, however usually, the afternoons are relatively mild! Though I enjoy the weather here, I love being in a colder section during the holidays as I still dream of having colorless Christmases at our parent’s home! However, over the last few years, the earth continues to heat up due to weather conditions change. The Winters have gotten warmer plus colorless Christmases are far plus few in between, but warmer Winters mean that all of us use less energy for heating which is a cost savings on our bi-weekly bills. However, now that the Summers are warmer, it means that all of us spend more for our cooling needs. With almost 90% of homes relying on air conditioning during the Summer, it means that cooling systems contribute to a big amount of carbon dioxide that is emitted into the atmosphere. This is quite the dilemma because all of us need to keep our homes cool, however the refrigerant that is used in our HVAC systems is a major threat to the environment because of the high levels of carbon dioxide emissions, and fortunately, the HVAC industry has been typically developing innovative ways to combat this issue. They have invented environmental-friendly ways to limit the impact that HVAC systems have on the environment; One innovation is their use of geothermal energy technology which consists of a method that uses the temperature from the ground to heat plus cool the home. This technology has become changingly popular as homeowners who are environmentally conscious are typically seeking ways to reduce their carbon footprint; I would love to 1 morning invest in a geothermal method however for now, I do what I can to eliminate our own carbon footprint.
