Jerome was torn between getting a new oil furnace heating system and a heat pump at home; his seasoned heating unit was on its last leg, and Jerome was ready to change it, but the previous year, the heating unit cost him some money having it repaired 4 times.
The HVAC worker informed him it would be more sane to update the aging unit during the last repair.
That’s when Jerome began researching new heating systems. He used an oil furnace heating system and wanted to believe more about heat pumps. His neighbor had a heat pump at the house and consistently spoke about how efficient the unit was; then Jerome made up his mind after some learning and speaking to odd people. He chose to go with the heat pump, which made more sense, not only was it an effective way to heat his house in winter, however he’d also use it in summer. That was a big selling point for Jerome. However, he had to dig into his savings to cover the high initial purchase and install a new heat pump. Two HVAC workers arrived at his house in an HVAC van 1 day to begin the work. They had to get rid of the seasoned oil furnace system and do some air duct before installing the heat pump. Jerome was quite gleeful to test the new unit once the team was done with the replacement process, and it was almost Wintertide in the area. That’s why he’d opted not to wait to change the oil furnace unit. Jerome had no plans of having the heating system fail to task in the middle of a snowstorm.
