When I started my Import and Export business, I had hoped to someday hit the five years in business mark. I guess the thought of expansion was a bit out of sight five years ago. I am not only celebrating our five year anniversary, but I am also opening a new building in North Port, FL. This new building is bigger and better than the one I have now. We have a security plan in place that will be able to keep our inventory safe. I even have a new automated lighting system in the building. The lighting system goes along with the advanced security system. We have hundreds of thousands of dollars in inventory at any given time. I like the peace of mind that our new North Port building is going to give us. Some of our current employees are going to be working in our new North Port building. I want established employees to open up the new building. Some aren’t happy about the move because working in NOrth Port has added over half an hour in their driving time. I also have some who live in NOrth Port so this is going to be easier for them and I feel it is going to all work out. When my employees complain, I remind them of the added bathrooms in the North Port area. I also tell them about the updated heating and air conditioning in the new building. I’m trying to make them all happy and if that means adding a bonus for their time, I may just do that also.
