Every year in our hometown, there is a whole house heating competition.
This competition includes different Heating plus Air Conditioning professionals from more than 2 heating corporations handling different procedures involved in the heating industry. The judges decide on the engineer with the most efficient, neat, and fairly fast procedures. The more seamless the procedure the more marks the participant garnered. I was registered as a heating provider and the more than 2 procedures that I had to illustrate included boiler replacement, which I was pretty sure I had mastered. Then came the most crucial area of the competition, executing quality heating service. There are a series of procedures involved in the service. Besides knowing how to execute the different procedures, every one of us answered questions on the interval of doing some of the servicing steps including the frequency of running a heating tune-up on a boiler. Once a year is the most commanded however twice a year is a sure way of ensuring that the dual fuel system lasts longer and functions optimally through its life span. There were questions about different regulators, my favorite is the digital temperature control because I can set the desired temperature and also voice-activate it. The competition went on for a while and every time every one of us broke up, I would run to my instructor and she assured me that I was on the right track. The grand prize was a 1000$ voucher at the heating dealer. If I won the grand prize, I was planning on getting my parents quality Heating plus Air Conditioning unit to help with indoor comfort. I had not told anyone this because I first needed to win! The last round of the competitions went fairly first even though every one of us were all unquestionably tired. When the results came in, the judges surprised me by declaring me the winner.
