I was getting double billed for three months

I am the director of a 300 equipment home building! During the summer, the two of us can be backed up with a/c repairs, and the home buildings are truly outdated & in need of dire renovations. The people I was with and I have an issue with an a/c every single day… When the repair staffing supervisor quit without notice, I was left without a person to repair the a/cs. I had to hire an outside repair to handle all of the requests. I did not have a lot of time to look for the best dealer, so I went with an HVAC corporation that was proposed by a friend. The HVAC corporation handles repairs for commercial & residential purchasers. They were glad to meet with me & discuss our needs… As soon as I retained the dealer, I had more than four calls for a/c repairs in the same week. The bills started rolling & slowly & I had a stack of paperwork on our desk from the HVAC dealer. They wanted to be paid for all of the work. It was a reasonable request, however I had to submit all of the paperwork to the management corporation before they would write a check. They wrote a check in July & another check in July. In November, they sent me an text with questions about the billing practices. I was getting double billed for 3 months & I did not notice until the management corporation started looking at all of the bills. I had to find another corporation fast while the two of us sorted out the financial issues with the first dealer.
