My spouse and I had pretty much always planned to live in as many residences as possible before retirement, however we both worked in the creative section and enjoyed playing around with all sorts of designs and color.
- The two of us agreed that when our children were grown and able to live independently, we would quit doing work for other people and mainly concentrate on remodeling residences that we purchased and resell them.
My spouse was a renowned interior designer, and I was a pretty gifted housing marketer. I figured this would be fun. The moment our last-born kid decided to go to university, we started our first huge project, which was renovating the residence we had lived in for numerous decades before we could resell the place. The two of us broke down the walls and changed the decor in all rooms. This was a good amount of work, and we were proud to have accomplished so much… All this while, we filmed every step and would share it on social media platforms. Some people had expressed interest in purchasing the residence once done. Honestly, we knew it would take a while. Of course, our pages almost shut down when we upgraded the old central heating and cooling machine with a current GEO system. All sorts of people wanted to make deposits, and some even offered much higher value for the residence. It took us approximately a month after the completion to test and see that everything was working beautifully. I had started getting used to the current AC machine, however we accepted an offer and got 40 percent more for the residence. Although it was agonizing having to leave, it marked the start of a pretty thrilling experience for us.
