It is a truly awful experience to watch as someone carries away something you toiled to buy.
Such was my experience one evening when I came back to my place late from work.
I didn’t know what was happening, however the noises in the backyard startled me. Fearfully, I locked the front door and rushed back to the dining room to see what was happening. Unfortunately, I was too late as I watched the Heating and Air Conditioning bandits pack my outdoor A/C into the back of their van and speed away. It appears they had been here long enough and had all the time to unmount the A/C device and remove it without destroying anything else. I tried to call the security dealer to trace the thieves, however this did not work. The following day, I contacted my employer and reported that I would not be toiling as I had an emergency I needed to take care of. I planned to visit the estate manager to report the incident. To my amazement, I was not the only one as there seemed to have been a coordinated A/C and gas furnace theft during the past evening. When I inquired more, it appeared as though this group was used to doing this in the village. There were several claims for the past 2 weeks, and for some strange reason, the security never seemed to catch the thieves. This was unquestionably shocking because we did not really know what would be next once the thieves were finished stealing Heating and Air Conditioning devices. Should we be concerned that they may attack us when we sleep? Such revelations left most of the residents seeking a crucial meeting to chart a way forward for all the estate dwellers.
