About a week ago, I was hosting an acquaintance at our house for the weekend.
- All of us had been roommates in school but moved to different cities after final graduation.
However, our friendship stood the test of time, and we kept in touch. He consistently called me to let me believe he would be in our town for numerous weeks for work. At that point I got so gleeful and insisted he had to come to stay with me and not book a hotel. My acquaintance was such a fantastic person, and I knew we’d have a good time catching up. Once all his bags were inside, I took him to tour the home and even showed the basement where I kept household things like our robust heat pump. That intrigued him, and he asked me right away if the heat pump was the right heating method for our house. My answer was a resounding oh hell yes. I told him that previously I had an AC unit, but after some time, it began falling apart on us. In 1 summer, I had to call the AC service person over 16 times to repair it because it wouldn’t cool the home effectively. Finally, I had opted to change it and get a heat pump instead before winter. My acquaintance wanted to know so much more about the benefits of the heat pump. His home was almost complete, and he was not positive what central cooling and heating method to set up. I advised him to speak with a dedicated AC professional, but our opinion was the heat pump.
