I hate to be picky and I’m about as far from precious as a person can get.
Still, I just hated the inside of my home. And that is just not the way you want to feel about your home. However, that was clearly where I was. There were days where I would linger in the zone controlled HVAC comfort of the office just to not go home. I love my family and our house is awesome, but walking into a wall of stinky air in my house just ruined it for me. But like I said, I don’t like to be like I have to have everything just perfect. This led to me trying everything I could in order to get rid of the smell. Our home is in a region where the HVAC equipment is running, in some capacity, year round. So the HVAC is just recycling the air and the odors along with it. However, I would come to find out that the HVAC would end up ultimately being the answer for my indoor air problems. Still, it took me trying all of the deodorizers out there before I finally called the HVAC company. The candles, the plug ins and the spray simply did not clean the air. They provided a brief masking of the odors but that was the extent of it. When I finally did call the HVAC company, they had the answer locked and loaded. It took an HVAC technician just not long at all to install a whole home air purification system inside the HVAC equipment. It uses UV light to actually kill all the bad, odor causing stuff in the air. Now, I have the best smelling, highest quality indoor air I can possibly have. Trust me, I’m not hanging around the office anymore.
