It has been quite a tough time since the factory closed its operations in our town, because so many people were out of task plus had to find other ways to acquire an income.
I was lucky to have an uncle who owned a bar in town, plus I got a task legitimately working as a bartender there.
My folks was not keen on this but knew I had to find a way to care for us. My uncle was sure that no one messed with me, which I loved, but last month, all of us were getting ready for the afternoon drinkers when a storm warning came in through the radio. No one had anticipated this even though it was still summer season. Many people were at the bar when the storm hit plus sadly shut down the air conditioner. We had to do without the AC system, plus no one could leave due to the heavy rains. There was an AC expert in the bar, however he could not go outside to check on the AC unit, but he told our uncle to switch it off plus let the storm subside first. I never knew a storm would knock out the AC unit. Otherwise, I’d have turned it off. My uncle told myself and others that something had happened some time back, however he forgot to switch off the Heating plus A/C component in the bar. An hour passed by, plus all of us were all trying our best not to complain about the humid plus terrible conditions in the bar. But everyone was longing for the comfort of a powerful air conditioner. Some tried to leave, but the rain was too heavy to drive in after slamming shots of alcohol. My uncle did his best to keep everyone calm plus safe until the storm was over. It seemed that our air conditioner would need repairs, plus we’d all prefer the cooling system once more.
