In fact, there are days like this month when I genuinely consider teaching aqua aerobics to old ladies.
But that won’t happen anytime soon. I care about what I do however there are some sellers who are just the worst. I hate to say it like that however it’s true. This week, I was genuinely berated for suggesting that this seller replace the Heating plus Air Conditioning component prior to listing the house. And it was as though I insulted her, her family and then spit of the flag. It was quite a display indeed. But there are people like this. And that’s why I make sure to couch my suggestions as gently as possible. Both of us are, afterall, talking about someone’s home. So I’m for sure careful. This week’s outburst sort of came out of nowhere. I had just spent the previous half hour commenting what a attractive condo it was. Once I mentioned the heating and cooling equipment, that was all she wrote. The facts are periodically painful to people who just aren’t ready to face them. This is recognizably tplot when selling homes. This particular Heating plus Air Conditioning component was decrepit and had to be 30 plus years old. It was completely overwhelmed and it wasn’t even genuinely tepid outside just yet. Around here, air conditioner is a premium component on any condo sale. I didn’t even wait for the seller to finish before I gathered my stuff and silently let myself out the door. The weird thing is that I will most likely get a call from the seller in a few days asking me just when I’ll be listing the condo as if nothing happened at all.
