The state park had pretty nice cabins for 50/nightly

My friends and I planned to go camping at the State Park during the week of spring break. We knew it would be an inexpensive vacation and there are lots of fun things to do at the State Park. The park has kayaking, canoeing, fishing, and a beach. There are lots of trails for hiking and a couple of places where you can ride a mountain bike. My friend Jack and I both have very large tents and we knew they would be big enough for all of our friends. We had everything planned out perfectly and everyone of us were ready for our week of fun. Unfortunately, the weather was going to be rainy and cold all week. My friends and I thought we would have sun and warm weather. We were not prepared for an alternate plan, but I decided to call the state park to see if they had any cabins available. I knew it was a long shot, since it was spring break. Luckily, most people were going to the beach or out of town so the park had a few cabins available. We ended up with a really nice cabin for $50 each night. The cabin had a ductless HVAC unit to help heat and cool the space. The ductless HVAC unit was a nice addition and very helpful on a couple of evenings when it was terribly cold. We ran the air conditioner during the day and we used the heat on a couple of nights. We had a ton of fun and we didn’t have to spend too much more money.
