Research indicates that women are likely to be more productive when the temperatures are warm. As such, setting the thermostat at a higher temperature level is proposed, however you may also want to consider the types of windows in the office, large windows are likely to bring in more light and make the office warmer than when the windows are small and high. Consider bringing in an HVAC specialist to study the building and understand its structure vs. the AC needs. A few measurements need to be taken to determine the suitable air conditioning unit. Besides the size of windows and the positioning of natural lighting, it is also essential to consider the position of humidity, either extreme is bad since too much moisture makes people tired, while too low humidity makes people cold. Either way, both situations are uncomfortable.
