I cannot say the heat came out of nowhere that summer, but, having such a tied up life meant I did not prepare for it, and I’d heard everywhere that weather experts were warning about an oncoming heatwave, however, I paid the matter no heed and went on with my life, however when the fateful day came, I was in utter shock, summer was here, and I’d delayed getting my a/c serviced.
- I remember waking up that night to a pool of sweat after tossing and turning, and my phone was at the bedside table, so I reached for it to access the central a/c app.
I tried in vain to get it to start, and that is when it hit me. I’d not had my Heating and Air Conditioning serviced in the Springtime. In my inbox was an email from the cooling and heating unit service reminding myself and others of the matter a month ago! I did open the email but never got back to the Heating and Air Conditioning serviceman to set maintenance and possible service date, and needless to say, I did not sleep a wink that night, but first thing in the afternoon, I put in a distress call to my auto a/c service. Luck wasn’t on my side because all technicians were tied up until the coming week. The only way I could get one to come to my venue was to pay an emergency 24 hour Heating and Air Conditioning unit maintenance fee. All the bargaining in the world did not bear any fruit. Therefore, I finally caved in and accepted the high AC service costs. I’d learned my lesson and would never skip wall-mounted heating and cooling method servicing ever again. The AC specialist was at my door in less than an hour and went about fixing the stalled unit. My capacitors were faulty, and the a/c needed up-to-date ones adding to my overall cost.
