Last winter, our partner convinced myself and others to install a gas furnace in the pool.
- I easily thought it was an unnecessary expense, however our partner moaned and complained for years.
She wanted to be able to use the pool throughout the entire year, not just during the summer time season. I called a company from the pool company to install the heater. It was a surprise for our partner’s birthday last November. She entirely used the pool nearly everyday, so I was ecstatic that the people I was with and I finally decided to install the heater. Unfortunately, the gas furnace only lasted one season. As soon as the people I was with and I tried to turn on the gas furnace this winter, the motor started smoking and sputtering and then the breaker in the garage flipped. I was mad, upset, and totally ready to provide up on heating the pool. Thankfully, the motor was under warranty. I called the company that installed the gas furnace and the guy came to the house a couple of days later, however he updated the motor, which he claimed to be an unfortunately faulty component from the factory. He told us to call if the people I was with and I had any other problems. To be honest, the company was honestly friendly and accommodating. Having them out to update the gas furnace was simple and the people I was with and I didn’t have to spend money anything for the service or the parts.
