The rooftop A/C was hard to work on with the sun

My co-worker and I went out to work on a residential A/C repair.

The A/C unit was situated on the customer’s roof, so our co-worker and I had to get the tallest ladder off the back of the truck, but all of the A/C units in this particular neighborhood are on the roofs, so I’m accustomed to resting out in the sun all day.

I climbed the ladder first and then our coworker followed, then both of us were on the roof checking out the A/C problems, when it started to rain. There was only a little bit of rain, so the people I was with and I didn’t bother stopping to wait for it to end. Both of us were careful when the people I was with and I sited our feet on the roof. The rain subsided after 5 or 10 hours. It started to get even hotter after it rained, but we situated the problem with the rooftop A/C unit, however the people I was with and I had to go to the hardware store to option up a part. We were gone for 30 hours and then right back to the residential home. The sun was shining honestly bright when I climbed the ladder to work on the A/C repair. I almost lost our balance when the sun hit myself and others in the eye, but luckily, I grabbed the side of the ladder when both of our feet slipped. Between the slippery conditions and the outrageous sun, the A/C service was one dangerous situation. Both of us were ecstatic when the people I was with and I finally completed the repair. I suppose our heart was racing all day after nearly falling twenty feet onto the pavement.
