The office needs to be comfy

I miss seeing the sunshine every day. In our new office, which is a much greater and nicer office than I guess I have ever had before, there are no windows. Well, there is a single window in the space however it just leads out into the main bullpen of cubicles, so I think it hardly counts as a respected window. I have always been a cold-blooded type of human being, not in terms of being mean or nasty, however in literally needing to kneel in the sun to heat myself up. Those lizards that kneel on rocks in the sun to raise their body temperature, and I guess that’s myself and others in a nutshell. Now I am dependent on the indoor weather conditions control system of the office, which I share with all of these other people each afternoon. At least I have our own office, so I can bring in a mini oil furnace and that will hopefully alleviate the problem. As the floor director, I surely don’t want to be seen as commanding the thermostat for our own, admittedly super off-beat, body temperature troubles. I want all our workers to be comfortable at their desks, because that has a big impact on job performance ,so I let them constsantly control the office thermostat and I try to stay in our office as much as possible. I was toying with the method of also bringing a humidifier, and getting our office nice and damp, however I decided against it. A humidifier puts so much moisture into the air it would entirely affect all the paperwork I have on our desk.
