My family came from basic roots, and always found a way to make it work. My people were farmers, they were often scavengers, they were hunters, they were hustlers or men of low character sometimes, and whatever it took to keep the family going. The point of all this is that I grew up extremely poor, and l acquired hastily how to use what I had at hand. That often meant using parts of cars to service other cars, and borrowing from a single local guy to pay off another. The home where the two of us live has a 20 year old central Heating and A/C system that has been amended and substituted with so many parts and components over the decades. This is a Frankenstein’s monster of an a/c unit, that works sometimes and doesn’t task other times. Under our feet, way down in the cellar appreciate a monster, is the antique gas furnace and the equally old and patchworked water boiler. These things have been kept working with Heating and A/C parts the two of us have definitely taken from other systems and found a way to make them work. It’s a terrible system to use forever, I know, however at no point did the two of us have a few extra thousand bucks hanging around for a new Heating and A/C system, so the two of us did the best the lot of us could. The honestly amazing thing to myself and others is that it works at all, however it is still absolutely powerful.
