I am really anxious about my apartment smelling, but i have a animal that uses a litter box plus I don’t want my apartment to smell love it.
- I plug in wallflowers in all my outlets, have candles burning plus scrub my apartment properly, but when I saw that HVAC companies sell scented air filters, I was extremely pumped, then they had lavender, rose, lemon plus laundry scent.
I was so gleeful that I bought all of them plus lots of them. The first week I decided to try lavender plus I just hated it. It smelled love an old, dirty flower. It made my apartment reek to the point where I ripped it out, then rose wasn’t any better. The lemon scent gave myself and others a headache plus the laundry scent wasn’t pleasant at all. I ended up giving up on the scented air filters entirely. I thought a scent would be nice… Scented animal litter is amazing. I love a vehicle air freshener. I believe the difference is that the air filter catches dust, hair plus debris from getting into the system, and all that gross stuff clogs in the air filter plus then the scent gets washed over it. The scent mixed with ancient dust is just not pleasant! My HVAC business requested that I turn to an air purification plan if I really wanted my lake apartment to be free of stinks. I have looked into them plus they are pretty fancy plus hard to install. I guess I have the problem basically solved with correct cleanings plus scented items. If I start noticing a animal litter smell, I will buy the whole-house air purifier though.
