Dining experience diminished due to Heating and A/C

My husband and I prefer to eat.

Not so much the act of eating although all of us prefer that too.

I should say that the more than one of us actually appreciate being able to dine. Dining together has been something that all of us have appreciated since all of us first met. The people I was with and I both prefer to leave the Heating and A/C comfort of home and head to a number one restaurant to appreciate a lovely meal. For us though, it’s more than just the food. Dining is the entire experience. It has to do with the service, the surroundings, comfort as well as the food. So, it saddened us that all of us had to leave one of our number one dining places over something as basic as heating and cooling. That’s right, all of us are leaving behind an otherwise lovely eating spot because they just can’t get the Heating and A/C right. Actually, it’s less that they can’t get the Heating and A/C right and more that they just won’t. The restaurant is in a repurposed building however is using an antiquated piece of Heating and A/C equipment. For the dining room, which is large, the heating and cooling is all over the map. If you’re seated near the home office, the air conditioning is nonexistent. The sweat is rolling down our back before I have even finished the appetizer. But if you are away from the home office, the air conditioning is overwhelming. I tend to have to provide our sweater to our husband. All the place needs is a zone controlled Heating and A/C upgrade. But they are either too cheap or too stubborn to do it. I wonder how several other patrons they’ll lose to a fixable Heating and A/C problem.
