Which this of course cost me even more money
The whole popular trend of going ductless for heating and air conditioning may be a good thing for some, but for me, I found out the hard way that it just wasn’t for me. The hard way meaning, that I spent a lot of money on all this alternate HVAC equipment, and it turned out to be a major waste of several bits of my cash, almost a little over a thousand bucks to be exact. The way the ductless mini split air conditioning system had to be mounted just didn’t work because of how my home is built. This was problem number one. The next, was that the portable space heaters that I bought just were not putting out enough heating around the rooms that I put them in. You would feel a bit of warmth and good heating at certain sections of the room where the portable space heater was set up at. But then as you walked away from it, it got to feel really cold around here. So, in the end, I decided to just continue using my regular central heating and air conditioning system like I was before. Because I had the central heating and air conditioning system off for so long, I had to get a fresh HVAC tune up before I started running it again. Which this of course cost me even more money. Ductless heating and cooling was just not for me, as I learned the extreme hard way. I think my bank account felt it more than anything else.
