Living in a very rainy climate can be both good and bad. The good, is that you do not have to worry about it getting too dry and hot all the time. Even in the summer months, a good rain will cool off things sometimes just as good as an air conditioning system would. However, when you get things like freezing rain, this can cause some problems. Not only breaking people’s car windows, but it can cause other damage. Like with me, freezing rain that went on for a whole night one time caused some damage to my central heating and air conditioning system. My HVAC unit was beat up to no end from it! It caused my central heating and air conditioning to stop working as the freezing rain somehow got inside and hit the fan. This bent the blades all out of whack and made it stop running. I had to call the heating and cooling company when this happened. It took them over a few days before they could get one of their heating and air conditioning professionals out to put in a new fan, and get my central heating and air conditioning unit back up and running again. The dents that were in the central HVAC system itself were unfortunately not fixable. So, I just had to live with an ugly looking heating and cooling unit. But that was fine with me, so long as my central heating and air conditioning system was up and running again! I can not live without my heating and cooling. That’s just who I am.
