It has been far too long since we got a stimulus check.
I know I’ve been going on about this a lot lately, but come on let’s do it already! Why do you tease the American people with money and then not do it for months on end? I will admit that I blew through my last two stimulus checks on frivolous things, but I won’t do that this time.
The first time I was so stoked to have that much money I went on an Amazon shopping spree. The second check was small, and at that point I knew I should spend it on my HVAC system, but instead I went to an online cannabis dispensary and spent it all there. This time though I am dead serious, every single dollar is going into a new air conditioner, because I may not live without it. I can’t even get high any more, I still have weed but without a nice air conditioned apartment, it just doesn’t last. I can’t sleep, I’m sluggish all the time, everything stinks like sweat, I need climate control or I am going to losing my freaking mind! This is why I am sort of ranting today, it has less to do with the politicians or the stimulus check, it’s all about the air conditioning. I am sitting in a public library and writing this on my phone, just because it was the only place with air conditioning that would let me in without spending money. Let’s hope today is the day the check arrives!
