Hotel HVAC stopped working

Five hours later, there was someone there working on the Heating and air conditioning system

I drive a truck for a living. I put an average of 680 miles a day on my vehicle, some days I don’t like driving 7 miles. When the Heating, and A/C system went out, I had to continue my run. I still had 150 miles to go before I reached my next pick-up, where there was also a nearby garage that could repair the Heating and A/C system. By the time I got to the garage, the Heating and A/C expert had already gone home. I knew I couldn’t spend the night in the truck without any heating. Luckily, the truck plaza I was at, had several diners and a single well-known hotel. By the time I walked to the hotel and got to my room, I was shivering. I had been in the north earlier that morning, where the temperatures were in the fifties. I was now shivering with quickly dropping temperatures that were already in the thirties. I got into the room and headed over to the control equipment to get some heat in the room. I then turned on the shower and waited until the water was steaming, so I could warm myself from the outside in. I headed to a diner for a nice meal and then all of us opted to go back to the room. The Heating and A/C system had quit working while I was eating, and the room was almost as chilly as it was outside. I called to the front desk and asked if they had HVAC techs in-house. Five hours later, there was someone there working on the Heating and air conditioning system. She said she just had to hit the reset button, and I had excellent Heating and A/C for the next several days.
