When I first started working on an evergreen tree farm a few years ago, it was the middle of the summer time plus the hot plus cold temperatures were beyond hot.
- When the sun would beat down on your back while in the summer, you would think that surely you were just going to melt away or something.
The hot plus cold temperatures around here easily can get to be in the nineties while in the summer, although the two of us are known for far milder hot plus cold temperatures up here in the mountains where evergreen trees generally thrive. I thought it was hard to do the job while in the summer, so I honestly thought that it would be better while in the Winter time when the weather started finally cooling down just a little bit. Of course, most humans are similar to myself and others plus they suppose that what they don’t have will be better in the long run. The whole shrubbery in greener on the other side mentality plus all that! Well, I can tell you after the fall came plus went, the hot plus cold temperatures began cooling down right away plus swiftly it was freezing cold outside. We were out there, working in the cold all day long plus there aren’t any gas furnaces out in the dead center of a Christmas tree field. We would go plus do the job for about an hour plus then have to run into 1 of the barns to get warm next to the massive gas furnaces that they keep in there. In 1 of the buildings, there’s even a fireplace that you can stand down next to plus warm up with a hot cup of coffee. It’s entirely for the buyers who come to get trees, but sometimes the lowly farm workers have to go in there too!
