We were both happy when he was out of jail and I decided to take him to celebrate his newfound freedom.
I have a cousin who is kind of ridiculous on the road. He drives slower than anybody I have ever seen. I mean seriously, this guy drives roughly 5 miles below the speed limit. Even though I think it’s crazy that he drives so slow, I never thought he would get in trouble for this. The worst thing he was guilty of was cranking up the A/C system in the car, but I thought he was being safe with his driving. He ended up getting arrested because he was driving too slow. The cop said he was endangering other drivers because of his slow driving and he actually stayed in jail and then went to court. Fortunately, the judge found him not guilty and all charges were dropped. He apologized to the cop in the court for his driving, but he said he just tried hard to be entirely safe on the road. He said his eyes were regularly on the road and he never had gotten into any accidents. We were both happy when he was out of jail and I decided to take him to celebrate his newfound freedom. We joked about it a lot and gave him a hard time for being in the “big house”. He laughed and said he was so nervous when he had to turn the car off and he was visibly sweating without being able to use his air conditioner. He suspected that the cop thought he was guilty of something because he was sweating, but decided to try to get him for driving too slowly. He says from now on, he will try to drive the actual speed limit and mess around with the A/C settings a little bit less.
