I have over thirty animals in my home and I am gaining one to two more a week.
I don’t know what makes people think I can afford to have all of these animals.
It seems that I have become the local animal shelter and I never asked to be. I have added burden on my HVAC system because of the animal hair and there is getting to be a horrible odor in my home. I am about to start a fund that everyone can donate to or I will need to take some of these animals to the pound. They are such sweet animals and I love them all, but I am going broke and soon I won’t even be able to feed myself, let alone feeding all of these animals. I told the last couple of people who tried to drop off animals, that it was a fifty dollar fee for each animal. I had to buy new air filters for the air conditioning unit the other day. The price of the air filters for homes with animals is more than double the price of regular air filters. I called the HVAC company to have my furnace cleaned and he told me I had to have it cleaned more than once a year with this load on it. I even need to change the air filters once a week. I am done being the town dog drop off. My doors are closed and I have sent notice to everyone. I no longer want anymore animals and people need to start adopting and quit throwing them away. They are living and breathing beings and not just things to be thrown away.
