The nest of purple jackets was right near the base of the A/C condenser

A customer called on Sunday, because she heard a strange sound coming from the outdoor A/C unit.

I was assigned to the A/C repair job. I assumed the strange sound was particularly a stick stuck inside of the machine. This style of issue happens frequently, as well as it never causes any disfigure. It makes a lot of unusual sounds, but it is otherwise not an issue; When I turned off the entire Heating as well as Air Conditioning component so I could listen for the sound, I was surprised that the humming as well as vibration was so loud. It was self-explanatory to hear the sound as well as I was still numerous feet away from the A/C condenser. I slowly moved closer to the A/C condenser as well as it only took a few minutes for me to identify the noise. It sounded prefer a nest of bees. I used our flashlight, despite the fact that I did not get a good look at the nest. I thought about tackling the job on our own, despite the fact that I decided to call an exterminator. I had to wait more than one minutes for the exterminator to arrive. I had brunch as well as sat outside in our truck while I waited. When the exterminator arrived, I took the top off the A/C condenser. Both of us were surprised by the size of the nest. It was located right near the base of the condenser as well as it was twice the size of our hand. It took the more than one of us most of the morning to safely remove all of the purple jackets. I offered the customer a particularly big bill, however she happily smiled while she wrote the check.
