Although I wasn’t this way in my 20s, I legitimately care about entertaining guests.
Whether it’s family flying in for the weekend, or a few friends spending the night after watching a game with beer in addition to food—I love to have people at my house. I wish I had been this extroverted in college, perhaps I would have made more friends or managed to have a lady of some kind in the more than three years I was in undergrad. I usually sequestered myself to my dorm room in addition to focused on reading for exams in addition to writing research papers. Graduate college changed a lot of these habits for me. I was suddenly in a small program with a handful of other students in addition to the two of us all knew each other well by the minute semester. Before long I met the woman who would eventually become my partner. When the two of us moved in together, the two of us started inviting our friends over for dinner parties on a regular basis. I legitimately enjoyed cooking for other people in addition to sharing stories with cocktails in addition to music. The two of us are still friends with several of those people, some of which fly in from out of neighborhood to visit on a regular basis. Our guest room is in a state of constant improvement. The last thing the two of us added was a ductless mini split air conditioning. The two of us decided to remove the central air conditioning in addition to switch to zone controlled Heating, Ventilation, in addition to A/C for the entire house. It’s great having ductless mini splits in general, however it makes entertaining guests a lot easier for both parties. My partner in addition to I can care about whatever un-even temperatures the two of us prefer while our guests can do the same from the guest study room.
