Thank god, relatives upgraded HVAC filters before the holidays this year

I have quite a reputation in my family.

Everybody likes to consider me to be the most difficult member of the clan. I understand that I have a lot of strong opinions and emotions, so it’s not too very unusual for people to be uncomfortable around my presence. That being said, I don’t think that any of my preferences or opinions are over-the-top. In fact, I think that my family prefers to be dense rather than appreciate the things I have to say. For instance, when I tell them that our heating, cooling, and air quality control system desperately needs a professional inspection by a certified heating, cooling, and ventilation technician I am not trying to cause any trouble. I simply want my family to understand that our heating and cooling systems are important. It is a big deal to control the indoor air temperature and air quality in your home if you want to be comfortable and maintain a healthy immune system over time. This is also true if you have any kind of energy expenditure expenses that have been negatively affecting your bank account. That’s why it’s always difficult around the holidays when my family inevitably has horrible indoor air temperature control and air quality as we try to celebrate the season. It is so difficult for me to get through a single Christmas celebration when there are hot and cold patches, unpleasant odors in the air, and extremely loud sounds coming from the heating system. Let me tell you, I actually was extremely relieved last year when my aunt and uncle upgraded their heating, cooling, and ventilation system before our family gathering. For once, I was not labeled to be the overly dramatic HVAC sheep.
