Winters in the south consistently fluctuate quite a bit.
- I have been getting nights of what I consider cold.
I have wind, rain and cold temperatures in the 50s and periodically 40s, however my gas furnace has to pump out air all night and day long. It is horrible being cooped up in the house. Then a few nights later the temperatures will beginning out in the low 60s and work their way into the 69s… Suddenly I am wearing shorts, a tank top and wishing I had my AC component running. Thank goodness I do have a central Heating and Air Conditioning system. The component decides heating or cooling, not me. I set the temperature at 73 degrees and let it do the rest. In the Winter mainly I am experiencing heating in order to get up to 73 degrees, and on weird nights when the weather gets a little warmer, the Heating and Air Conditioning is either not operating or legitimately cooling the lake condo to 73 degrees. I don’t need to touch a button or mess with anything. Another perk is that the temperature control I have with this system alerts myself and others on the weather outside. I used to watch the news, log on my laptop or check the weather app on my iphone, but now when I walk by the temperature control in the hallway it lights up and shows myself and others the forecast. I guess what temperature it is inside, outside and what the weather will do later in the day. It allows myself and others to dress accordingly for the day and guess if I am getting heat or cooling system today.
