You have to make sure the ductwork is good before updating the HVAC device

This household is almost a part of the family.

That is an unusual thing to say and I fully understand that a household is not a sentient being.

However, from the moment we moved in, I have felt like it was more than just a venue to live. We’ve seen a great deal of things over all of these years. Our youngsters growing up to be amazing adults is one of the most precious memories. And our household along with the Heating and A/C consistently kept us safe and comfortable. The household was built in the late 50’s and the structure and design are of the finest quality. It will still be taking care of families long after we’re gone. It has changed a good amount of course. The Heating and A/C device was an upgrade that was put in while both of us were in the early 80’s. Both of us updated the heating & cooling device when both of us obtained it so many years ago. And both of us are now replacing that particular one. It’s time and both of us knew it was eventually coming. The Heating and A/C tech was good about sort of giving us a heads up so both of us could plan and save for the eventual updatement. However, when both of us had the Heating and A/C supplier come out for the initial inspection and consultation, both of us got some unexpected news. The Heating and A/C supplier informed us that the HVAC duct system was too old and too narrow to support today’s Heating and A/C device models. That easily meant that both of us were looking at having to update the HVAC duct system. Fortunately, it’s quite accessible due to it having been put in after the original construction.
