It is extremely rare when my boyfriend leaves the house for any period of time.
He never leaves to visit family, travel for work or go on vacation.
He is just always at home. Anytime I leave, he will come right with me. Sometimes I just want a moment in the house alone, you know? I really don’t get those moments unless a family member dies or his family is on his case to come home. Even with those instances, I get maybe two days to myself. They are always glorious days. I have a weekend coming up that I will be left alone. My boyfriend is going with his college friends on a boy’s trip. He is going to do a long weekend in a different state so I get to enjoy the house to myself. It is great because I don’t have to cook elaborate meals and clean up after them. I can make chicken nuggets on a paper plate. I also can set the HVAC the way I want it. My boyfriend is very particular about his climate control settings. He really wants to be in the dark and in freezing cold temperatures. The thermostat is always set super low. No matter the season, I need to wear pants and a sweatshirt in my own home. I hate it and wish for heating all the time. The moment my boyfriend leaves the AC is turning off. I will let the house get as warm as I want to. If I want heating, I won’t have to sneak it. I can watch girly movies and go to bed as late as I want to.
