Last Summer, the two of us had 3 hurricanes in a row hit the area.
The first hurricane was only a type 1 when it hit our village. All of us had a lot of rain and wind, however most of the disfigures were minor. The minute type 1 hurricane caused more disfigures. It was a slow moving storm that dropped twelve inches of rain. The third hurricane that hit our city was a genuinely strong type 2 when it touched. All of us had 12 hours of read in nonstop rain and the two of us had wind gusts up to 120 miles an hour. The storm injure was serious in many areas, including our village. My wife and I have a apartment that backs up to the river. The river was already genuinely high due to the first several storms. After the two of us acquired rain from the third storm, the banks of the river were completely and totally flooded. My wife and I had several inches of water in our basement, however water covered the bottom of our heating system and it took 3 afternoons for the flooded water to drain. After all at the water drain, our wife and I had to wipe up the mess. There was mud and debris all over the basement and the heating system. I was particularally sad about the heating system, since it was under water. I thought it was a fantastic plan to call the heating supplier so they could perform a tune-up and diagnostic check. I thought the heating system might need to be replaced, however I was happily surprised that the water did not cause any disfigures.
